Description
The French 75 mm field gun is a quick-firing field artillery piece adopted in March 1898. Its official French designation was: Matériel de 75 mm Mle 1897. The French 75 is widely regarded as the first modern artillery piece. It was the first field gun to include a hydro-pneumatic recoil mechanism, which kept the gun’s trail and wheels perfectly still during the firing sequence.
Canon de 75 mm mle 1897 modifié 1938 was a motorized artillery variant with wooden wheels replaced by metallic wheels with pneumatic tires.
Set consists of 15 fine 3D-printed models. Models are sold with print supports and need side-cutters or hobby knife to remove them.
