Description

The IRM “Zhuk” (Inzhenernaya Razvedyvatelnaya Mashina, or Engineer Reconnaissance Vehicle, nicknamed “Beetle”) is a specialized, Soviet-designed amphibious armored vehicle. Its main purpose is detailed engineer reconnaissance. This includes assessing the trafficability of terrain, finding routes, and analyzing water obstacles (such as measuring depth, current velocity, underwater obstacles, and bottom density). It is also equipped for mine detection.

The IMR-1 (Inzhenernaya Mashina Razgrazhdeniya, or Combat Engineering Vehicle) is a Soviet-designed heavy military engineering vehicle developed in the late 1960s and introduced in the early 1970s. It is built on the chassis of the T-55 Main Battle Tank, with the main turret replaced by specialized engineering equipment. Its primary function is to clear obstacles on the battlefield to ensure the rapid advance of military columns.

Set consists of 7+7 fine 3D-printed 1:600th/3mm scale miniatures. Models are sold with print supports and need side-cutters and hobby knife to remove them.
