Description
The Joint Light Tactical Vehicle (JLTV) is a U.S. Army, U.S. Marine Corps and Special Operations Command program to partially replace the Humvee fleet with a family of more survivable vehicles having a greater payload.
The Marine Air Defense Integrated System (MADIS) is a specialized variant of the Joint Light Tactical Vehicle (JLTV) designed for short-range air defense. It comprises two complementary variants: the MADIS Mk1, designated AN/MSY-2(v)1, and the MADIS Mk2, designated AN/MSY-2(v)2. The MADIS Mk1 is equipped with a Kongsberg Defense Protector RS6 remote weapon station armed with an XM914E1 30 mm chain gun, an M240 7.62 mm MG, and turret-mounted Stinger missiles. It also features Electro Optical Infra-Red (EO/IR) optics and multi-functional electronic warfare (EW) capabilities, allowing it to engage aerial threats. The MADIS Mk2 is similarly equipped with a Kongsberg Defense Protector RS6 remote weapon station with the same armament but lacks Stinger missiles. Instead, it is optimized for counter-unmanned aerial system (C-UAS) operations, featuring a 360-degree radar composed of four RADA aCHR (RPS-62) radars, multi-function EW systems, and a command-and-control suite for seamless battlefield coordination.
Set consists of 7+7 fine 3D-printed 1:600th/3mm scale miniatures. Models are sold with print supports and need side-cutters and hobby knife to remove them.
