Description
The Lorraine 38L was a French armored personnel carrier (APC) developed just before the outbreak of World War II. It was an evolution of the earlier Lorraine 37L, a light tracked vehicle designed primarily to resupply tanks with ammunition and fuel.
The main difference for the 38L was its purpose: it was designed to carry infantry. Officially known as the Voiture Blindée de Chasseurs Portés 38L (VBCP 38L), it featured an armored box on its rear that could carry six men, while another six could be transported in a tracked, armored trailer.
Set consists of 15 fine metal 1:600th/3mm scale miniatures.
