Description
The M2A1 105mm howitzer, was the standard light field howitzer used by the U.S. military during World War II, the Korean War, and the Vietnam War. Developed in the late 1930s, it was a reliable and effective towed artillery piece known for its accuracy and powerful high-explosive rounds.
With a range of over 11,000 meters and a rate of fire up to 10 rounds per minute, the M2A1 was a key asset for supporting infantry and was a versatile weapon that could fire various types of ammunition, including smoke, incendiary, and armor-piercing shells. Its design was so successful that it was widely exported to allied nations and remains in service with some countries today.
