Description
The M3 half-track was an American armored personnel carrier half-track widely used by the Allies during World War II and in the Cold War. Derived from the M2 half-track car, the M3 was extensively produced, with about 15,000 standard M3s and more than 38,000 variant units manufactured.
Israeli half-tracks were all designated M3, even M2/M9 variants and known as the Zakhlam or “half-catepillar” in Hebrew for its hybrid propulsion. The Mk. A APCs were generally identified as IHC M5s because of their RED-450 engines. While the M49 mount was retained, various machine guns were used.
Set consists of 15 fine 3D-printed 1:600th/3mm scale miniatures. Models are sold with print supports and need side-cutters and hobby knife to remove them.
