Description

The T‑38 amphibious scout tank was a Soviet light amphibious reconnaissance tank developed in 1934-1936 by Factory No. 37 in Moscow as an improved successor to the T-37A light tank. Featuring a widened, boat‑shaped hull, a two‑man crew, and amphibious capability via a rear‑mounted propeller, it entered production in 1937, with around 1,300 built by 1939. Designed for scouting and infantry support, its thin armor and single 7.62 mm DT machine gun limited its battlefield effectiveness. The T‑38 saw service in the Soviet‑Finnish Winter War and early stages of World War II, where many were captured during Operation Barbarossa.

Set consists of 15 fine metal 1:600th/3mm scale miniatures.
