Description
The T-60 light tank was a Soviet reconnaissance and infantry support tank used during World War II. It was developed in 1941 and was based on the chassis of a pre-existing armored vehicle. The tank was armed with a 20 mm TNSh cannon and a 7.62 mm DT machine gun. Despite being relatively underpowered and lightly armored compared to later tanks, the T-60 was cheap and easy to mass-produce, with over 6,000 units being built. Its small size made it useful for reconnaissance and for fighting in urban environments. However, its thin armor and small cannon made it vulnerable to most anti-tank weapons and even heavy machine guns.
Set consists of 15 fine metal 1:600th/3mm scale miniatures.
