Description
The Tank, Infantry, Mk III, Valentine was an infantry tank produced in the United Kingdom during World War II. More than 8,000 Valentines were produced in eleven marks, plus specialised variants, accounting for about a quarter of wartime British tank production.
Valentine II (Tank, Infantry, Mk III*) until the Valentine name adopted in June 1941 was known as “Tank, Infantry, Mark III*”. This model used AEC A190 131 hp 6-cylinder diesel engine. To increase its range in the desert, an auxiliary jettisonable external fuel tank was installed to the left of the engine compartment.
Set consists of 15 fine metal 1:600th/3mm scale miniatures.
